iPad aroused the new innovation of Apple

On 27th January, 2010, iPad was launched by Apple Inc on behalf of its CEO – Steve Jobs. So what is iPad? iPad is tablet computer which is similar in functionality to the iPhone and iPod touch, running the same operating system (iPhone OS) and almost all of the same applications.

The function of iPad

Almost, the function of iPad is nearly the same with iPhone, even some people said iPad is nothing but a big size iPhone. But the most impressive feature is iBooks. People can read book on App Store for free. And there are a lot of classic books in iBook, as long as you buy, it will appear in your book shelf, when you want to read, just touch it.

What dose iPad really mean?

Apparently, iPad didn't bring so much surprise like iPhone. Most of people got disappointed. Compare to iPhone, iPad is too big; Compare to Amazon Kindle, iPad is not free for 3G and is more expensive. So what iPad really is? There are a lot of criticisms. If iPad is a tablet, it is really useless. No built-in camera, not support multiple application work at a time, no enough disk space, not support Flash etc. But Tim Cook said iPad is not a tablet, it is an extension of iPhone and iPod Touch. What dose iPad really mean? It seems no proper correct solution.

What will happen after iPad got birth?

After iPad launched, a lot of manufactures focus on the tablet. Such as Dell, Lenovo, Google etc. It seems more competitive will happen and more companies will get profit for the sake of iPad unsuccessfully launch. Apple wants iPad to be the innovation, but actually it's not enough to be. iPad still need more improvement, then it can be an icon of tablet like iPhone, iPod.
